New York Artist Releases Amazing Time-Lapse Video of Major Public Artwork – October 9, 2015

Sea Cliff, New York – Dimitry Schidlovsky, an accomplished New York artist whose work has been featured across the Metro area and in publications such as The New York Times and The Smithsonian, has released a unique 5-minute, time-lapse video of the creative process behind a major public artwork.

The 7x16 foot oil painting – Metaspace Observation 31 – is the artistic centerpiece of the new campus center at Farmingdale State College.   The painting was unveiled on October 19 at 2350 Broadhollow Road in Farmingdale, NY.

Dimitry Schidlovsky has been a professional artist for over three decades.  Accomplished in virtually all media from traditional to digital, he has produced an extensive body of fine art including his Metaspace collection of contemporary observations that combine abstract and realist genres to create a new form of expression.
